POWER STATION

Event

We’re kicking off the launch of our new project FRAM POWERS UP! with a screening of the film Power Station, and we really hope you can join us.

This film is a testament to the power of community, and really makes you think – that when we all come together, anything is possible. If these guys can do it, so can we.

ABOUT THE FILM Working to turn a street and local schools solar, Power Station is a scalable in-your-face prototype of community led power. Two artists set out to kickstart a people powered energy revolution. The film charts their turbulent journey, from pitching the idea to their neighbours and raising finance by sleeping on the roof, growing thousands of sunflowers for a Sun Festival and launching a bid for a Christmas number one. The project started in 2022 and the film was launched in 2025

See POWER STATION at the Unitarian Meeting House on Friday 16 October at 6.30pm. It’s free entry, but make sure to secure a seat with a ticket using the QR code, or get the free tickets HERE

IF YOU CAN”T MAKE THE FILM – see us the next morning on Market Hill – Saturday 17th Oct
