Introducing our new power-house on the Hill:
Fram can now look forward to a spectacular future, to match our town’s historic medieval past up here on the hill, courtesy of our own locally generated electricity.
Greener Fram has set up a project to get this done – our town, our power, our future.
It will essentially be:
- 100% owned by Fram
- 100% for the residents of Fram
We are now up and running as we have been chosen as one of four groups in Suffolk to take part in Future Energy Landscapes. This means we have government backed support to help us get going, including access to much needed funding.
So what do we want?
- Cheaper electricity bills
- Warmer houses
- Less fuel poverty
- Decarbonisation
- Keeping as much solar off our precious landscape as possible
When do we want it? NOW!
